It’s unfair to be blamed for something you didn’t do!
I DIDN’T DO IT

Home from school, Charlie said to his Dad,
“I got into trouble today.”
He looked so downcast when he added,
“I wasn’t allowed out to play.”
Surprised, his father gave him a hug
And kissed him on his head.
“You’ve never been in trouble before,
Not that I’ve known,” he said.
“Teacher yelled and scowled at me,” said Charles,
“It made me feels so sad.”
“But what on earth could you have done
That Mr Grey thought was so bad?”
“It wasn’t what I did that made
My teacher tear out his hair.
It was for something I didn’t do,
And I think that it’s very unfair.”
“It’s unfair if you didn’t do anything.
Explain son, give me a clue.”
“I got into trouble because it was
My HOMEWORK that I didn’t do.
