Rock Graffiti

$3.00

An Outback poem about a giant rock despoiled by so-called “Civilisation”.

Rock Graffiti : 26 lines of Blank Verse outlining the ugly, stupidity of graffiti.

A mutilated monument that stood for eons untouched,

That weathered rain and dust storms,

Unrelenting heat and crackling cold.

Now seamed and pitted with age,

Yet still strong with dignity,

Bearing the liver spots of lichen

And the heavy beard of mould.
