THE PUZZLE
Michele Lourie c 2016
My teacher is terrific
So learning’s lots of fun
And ‘cos she’s always happy
Even yukky tasks get done.
But she’s had a little problem
That has caused a bit of strife
All because, this week, two new pupils
Have come into our life.
Their parents introduced them
Two girls named Sam and Belle
Twins dressed in black and obviously
They were identical.
The hats they wore were conical
They each clutched a little broom
And when teacher wasn’t looking
They would fly around the room.
But when one did something naughty
Well there became the hitch,
‘Cos who could teacher punish
When she could not tell witch from witch?
