A pirate’s life is one of fun under the sun and the skull and crossbones. Who wants to be a landlubber when you could sail the seven seas in search of adventure? Three X 8 line stanzas.
Come and join us in the jolly, jolly boat
And walk the plank for fun.
Then swing the lead and come about
To sail beneath the sun.
Ho, ho, ho we sing
Let the fo’c’sle ring
No landlubbers are we
We’re pirates brave and free.
Sea legs we will learn to use
To climb the Crows nest high.
The skull and crossbones wave aloft
While we dance beneath the sky.
Our captain wears a wooden peg
That gives him legs a-three,
A parrot on his shoulder wide
Who squawks, “Hey, look at me!”
What shall we do with this silly sailor
What shall we do with this naughty sailor
What shall we do with this cheeky sailor
Earl’y in the morning?
Ho, ho, ho we sing
Let the fo’c’sle ring
No landlubbers are we,
We’re pirates brave and free.
