Do You Like Pumpkin?

$3.00

A humorous poem about a child hiding his meal of pumpkin under the dinner table so he didn’t have to eat it.

Do You Like Pumpkin? : 13 stanzas each of lines. A tale about a pumpkin hater.

“You’ll sit there till you eat your meal!”

Dad said with furrowed brow

Then walked away to watch TV;

The NEWS was starting now.

An hour went by; I sat there still.

The pumpkin sat there too;

I’d squashed it with my knife and fork

Into a gooey glue.

Why did I have to eat this muck

Now spread across my plate?

I’d rather eat boiled Brussels’ Sprouts;

Another veg I hate.
