A Junior monologue for girls or boys. Hasn’t everyone at one time thought of running away – and the circus would be a great place to run to. But perhaps the jobs one would have to do would be more mundane than that of the lion tamer or trapeze artist, so maybe it would be better to stay at home.
“But wait a minute! My dad always says when you start in a new job you have to begin at the beginning. So that would probably mean cleaning out the animal cages and sweeping up after the elephants. Ugh!”
