The pantomime is based on the fairy tale – Little Red Riding Hood, while being set in the bush and without the wolf.

Instead of a wolf, there is a Kangaroo with a large pouch into which a feisty Granny is placed. The bush animals need a babysitter for their children while they go to Canberra to protest the cutting down of their tree homes. iA wolf does try to audition with humorous results, and there is a horse with a very British accent who accompanies Jack Aroo in his quest to woo Little Miss Driza Bone.
